Instead of paying a licensing fee each time you use a piece of music, the TracksNow License lets you use the music worldwide as many times as you like, forever for a one time charge. Your licensed uses include audio, video, industrial films and slide presentations as well as multimedia, television, radio and satellite broadcast.  

The terms Royalty Free and Buyout are used interchangeably.  

No. Royalty Free is not the same as copyright free. In the case of royalty free, the selling entity or entities retain the copyright interests.

Mechanical, Synchronization and Public Performance. The mechanical right lets you re-record the music from a purchased CD. The synchronization right lets you put the music into time relationship with a picture. Finally, you are granted Public Performance Right*.

Your license doesn’t cover this use. You may not lend, share, resell or distribute the music to a third party. Your license is granted to one individual business and site.   

You can charge your clients for the music you include in their projects when you also add other audio and/or visual elements. Your investment in a buy-out library from TracksNow can provide you with significant added revenue.  

Domestic and international broadcast of this music is cleared through BMI, whose revenues are collected directly from broadcast station licensing, NOT from you as a producer. If your production is to be broadcasted, you are required to file a cue sheet with BMI. There is no extra charge to you, the producer, and you may easily file online or via fax. Yes, when the music is combined with other audio and/or visual elements added by you, the Licensee, and when the music is not a featured part of any such project or product but rather an incidental or background element. Your license allows mass-market retail distribution up to 5,000 units. Retail distribution over 5,000 units is licensed separately by contacting Steve Hansen at 203-967-2200 or shansen@hi-top.com.  

No, but this use is available with an additional license.  

All of our production CD's are regular audio music CD's that will play in any CD player. 

All our music is recorded LIVE using musicians when it is appropriate to the style of music such as acoustic, blues, country, rock, island, world music. We add synthesizers and programmed drums if it appropriate to the sound and style of the music such as dance and pop. There is no tacky midi sound to any of our music. We play all the acoustic instruments live whenever possible. Listen for yourself!  

Yes. TracksNow releases new CD's and individual tracks as often as possible. As a library owner, you'll be notified of all our new releases and will be offered special discounts. 

Within the US shipping and handling is $ 7.95. For orders outside the US there is a flat charge of $14.95 for any order.

Within the US all shipments go out within 24 hours of your order via Priority Mail, International shipments are sent via First Class Airmail. Overnight shipping via FedEx is available for an additional $20.
